Don't rent here, this place has the worst reputation yet because of relentless promotion campaign on craigslist , it's where people end up.
It's also because when you come to St Helens, turning down Old Portland Rd is logical and you end up at this heap and it's not easy to find rentals in St Helens.
There was a foreign national from Africa there once, which is the other thing about St Helens and Oregon. People drift in and leave as quickly. It isn't an easy place to hang on in , as there are few jobs, little money and just not much to do.
The stairs are so steep that they are almost impossible to climb. The police are there all the time because the place is filled with high-risk renters.
It's a dive in a great location, unless you don't have a car and then it's a nightmare. I mean for god's sakes put in an elevator
