The Real Columbia County,the one no one talks about. Lucas, the owner, is an attorney, the son of a local attorney, who have law offices a block from the courthouse in Saint He lens Oregon.
Lucas rents to whoever shows up with the cash, so many felons etc and out of towners move here because no questions are asked. NOHA, Community Action and the electric company know about his reputation, but nothing happens, it remains year in year out as a place where the poor are harassed and criminals get a foot hold in the county. Spies, constant evictions, security cameras.
The Owner lives in Palm Springs most of the year and uses the poor to act as spies. It's mostly about torture and revenge. Down at the Couthouse , the one that has Ted Grove as a judge, there is a sign saying Lucas Lucas, a special mailbox for this landlord and his daddy, who actually kept two tenants from getting their security deposit back, by calling the judge long distance from California , stating that his car had broke down.

Don't think the rent is cheap, the landlords in Columbia County are charging high rent, while ignoring any laws that protect tenants.

I've lived in these apts. for over a year.r fridge didn't work he replaced it with a used one that had duck tape holding it together,has string holding in r food in freezer,tape up light,freezes r food.dish washer never had worked tried to get it fixed Ron said he doesn't have to fix it cuz the dishwasher was a bonus not a assentual.black mold in bathroom,thay fixed it by painting over it.my bathroom tolit has been leaking from day one.he gave me a 33 day no cause to move because I am not a rat or the police and won't tell on people who use drugs and have animals.so I told him that I'm not a rat and I don't know who uses drugs or have animals.i don't need them problems in my life as a rat,maybe if Ron pulled his head out of the coke bag long enough to run background checks and rental history he would have better rente
rs and less problem.but he would reather rent to people he can minuplate take there money and deposits kick them out and keep there stuff deposits,if u ask me he is a lire,thief,minuplater to put it in other terms he likes to praying on the weak.when people or down help them up not take a ---- on there chest.ill c you around mr.lucas hope u fill good knowing what u do.
